About Rob

I’m not here to tell you what to do

I’m here to help you hear yourself clearly enough to know what you already know.

Most people don’t come to The Quiet Truth Sessions because they’re looking for advice.

They come because something no longer feels right.

Perhaps they’re overwhelmed. At a crossroads. Stuck in a relationship that doesn’t feel the same anymore. Questioning their career. Carrying responsibilities that leave little room to hear themselves think.

Often, they already have the answers.

They just haven’t had the space to hear them.

Why I created the Quiet Truth Sessions

For more than twenty years I’ve worked alongside people navigating challenge, uncertainty and change.

Over that time, one thing became increasingly clear.

People rarely need another person to solve their problems.

What they need is someone who can slow the conversation down.

Someone who listens without judgement.

Someone who asks the questions that help them see what they’ve been unable to see alone.

That is where The Quiet Truth Sessions began.

A different kind of conversation

I don’t believe clarity comes from being told what to think.

I believe it comes from creating enough space for truth to emerge naturally.

Sometimes that happens through a difficult question.

Sometimes through silence.

Sometimes through noticing something you’ve been saying all along without realising it.

Those moments can’t be forced.

But they can be invited.

What I believe

The Quiet Truth Sessions aren’t built around techniques.

They’re built around a handful of principles that quietly shape every conversation.

  • Truth over comfort.

  • Presence over control.
  • Integrity over approval.
  • Kindness with boundaries.
  • The work is the gift.

Beyond coaching

I’m also a father, an educator and someone who has had to navigate grief, uncertainty, change and starting again.

Life has taught me that the most meaningful growth rarely happens because someone gives us the perfect answer.

It happens because we’re finally honest enough to ask ourselves the right question.

That understanding shapes every session.

Not because I believe my story is important.

But because it reminds me that every person arrives carrying a story of their own.

If you’re here…

…perhaps something in you already knows it’s time to pause.

Not to fix yourself.

Not to become someone else.

Simply to understand yourself a little more clearly.

If that’s where you are, I’d be honoured to share that conversation with you.

If something you’ve read has resonated with you, there’s no pressure to decide anything today. But if you’d like to explore whether The Quiet Truth Sessions feels right for you, I’d love to hear from you.

A little more about me.

Alongside The Quiet Truth Sessions, I’m a dad, a teacher, a coach, a mentor and someone who believes we’re all still learning. I’ve spent more than twenty years working with people in education, supporting young people and adults through challenge, change and growth. I’m also a qualified life coach.
